Dysport is a brand name for an injectable cosmetic treatment that uses botulinum toxin type A. It is similar to Botox and Xeomin in its main ingredient and purpose. The active ingredient, botulinum toxin type A, is derived from the bacterium Clostridium botulinum. When used in small, controlled amounts, it temporarily relaxes the muscles responsible for causing wrinkles and fine lines on the face.
